On March 18, 2026, during a weeklong book signing tour of Southern California, Mike Ebbing and Bill Brockett spent the day at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum in Simi Valley. During their visit, they spent a couple of hours with the library’s audiovisual team, recording a session in which Mike interviewed Bill in a Larry King style.
The resulting video premiered on the Reagan Foundation’s YouTube channel on April 2 and is now available for anyone and everyone to enjoy. Many thanks to Melissa Giller, the foundation’s Chief Marketing and Programming Officer, and to the incredibly talented AV team who worked with Mike and Bill to produce this amazing video. Enjoy!
On March 19, 2026, during a weeklong book signing tour of Southern California, Mike Ebbing and Bill Brockett visited the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum in Yorba Linda. During their visit, they spent a couple of hours with the library’s docents, recording a session in which Mike interviewed Bill in the library’s main conference room.
This presentation was different from most in that we focused more on the Nixon presidency than that of Gerald Ford. About 40 docents were in attendance for their monthly “Brown Bag Luncheon” and this was an especially fun group to spend time with.
On September 11, 2026, Bill was the keynote speaker during the evening program in the auditorium at the brand new Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library in Medora, North Dakota.
After a moving 9/11 tribute, Bill joined four other White House Communications Agency alumni for a presentation called “Tragedies and Near Tragedies” followed by Mike Ebbing interviewing Bill during the second hour. This was all part of the 2026 All-WHCA Annual Reunion attended by about 40 former WHCA members and their spouses.
