A Virtual Event with White House Communications Agency Alumni Bill Brockett and Mike Ebbing

This virtual event will premiere on the Reagan Foundation’s YouTube channel at 9:00 p.m. Eastern Time on April 2nd.

Moderated by Camp David switchboard operator, Mike Ebbing, these two former members of the White House Communications Agency will take you through Bill’s incredible journey of a Vietnam-era Army draftee who became a trusted confidante of the President of the United States.

Assigned to the White House Communications Agency one month before President Richard Nixon’s resignation, Bill is believed to be the only person, living or dead, to have physically attended all four major events at the White House on August 8-9, 1974: Nixon’s resignation speech, his farewell address to the White House Staff the following morning, the Nixons’ final South Lawn helicopter departure, and the swearing in of the new president, Gerald Ford. Bill went on to become the trainer of President Ford’s Golden Retriever, Liberty, and the president’s youngest personal advisor at the age of twenty-four.

Pre-signed copies of Bill’s internationally acclaimed new book, Follow the Yellow Line, can be purchased through the registration process.
